20|20 Integrated Solutions comprises directors Unna Liddy and Bret Mannison and a team of specialist consultants appointed for their experience and skills in fields such as quality accreditation, organisational improvement, and policy and administration.

Relevant to the work we do in the health sector, we have also built a strong core team of consultants with clinical management and governance backgrounds.

Unna and Bret have worked extensively in the public, private and community sectors in areas such as quality accreditation, Indigenous health service delivery, policy and program development, marketing and communications, and strategic planning.

Unna Liddy

Unna Liddy portraitUnna is one of the inspired and visionary leaders of 20|20 Integrated Solutions. Her 22-year career has seen Unna build strong foundations in quality management in addition to community development, community education and advocacy. Regardless of the role, Unna views the process as similar - working to be part of the solution.

Unna is motivated by being able to build organisational capacity and capability, working with diverse organisations to identify effective and sustainable solutions by strengthening organisational culture and implementing a systems approach. With this objective firmly in mind, Unna assists organisations in measuring their achievements and improveing performance.

At a practical level, Unna has worked with a wide range of organisations within the health and community sector to improve organisational performance and, thus, health outcomes. These have included Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHO) and other non government organisations, state government community health services, and rural hospitals.

By taking a systematic and creative approach, Unna has the ability to translate the requirements of standards into business systems and processes which are relevant to a client's organisation. And rather than reinvent the wheel, she works with the organisation to identify how to build onto existing systems and looks for ways in which the requirements can be simply and effectively integrated into current practices.

Known for her professional and focused approach, Unna develops solutions with a philosophy based on thorough research. She begins the process by working with the organisation to gain an understanding of the objectives of the organisation and then works with the organisation to identify how they can better achieve their vision through meeting the required standards. Her achievements have been reflected in projects such as:

  • Reviewing organisations against quality standards such as ISO 9001:2008 QMS Requirements, Quality Improvement Council (QIC), and the RACGP Standards for General Practices. 
  • Leading two reviews of the OATSIH Risk Assessment Framework and Risk Assessment Profile Tool
  • Participating on the QIC Technical Working Group, which is responsible for providing advice to QIC on the revision of standards and audit tools. Unna's involvement in the revision of the standards reviews is acknowledged in the latest edition of the Health and Community Services Core Module (5th Ed)
  • Working with organisations on a range of quality improvement initiatives and planning processes

Unna's practical experience is backed up by strong qualifications and auditing credentials. These include:

  • Bachelor of Applied Sciences and Master of Arts Qualifying (Psychology)
  • Certification by RABQSA International as a Lead Auditor in the QMS Auditor Scheme
  • Registration as a QIC Accreditation Reviewer
  • Credentials as an Associate Fellow with the Australasian Association for Quality in Health Care
  • Certificate of Integrated Risk Management (BSBMGT508A Manage Risk Management
  • System and BSBMGT611A Develop Risk Management Strategy)
  • Advanced Diploma of Occupational Health and Safety (BSB61004)
  • Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training

Bret Mannison

Bret Mannison portraitPrior to establishing 20|20 Integrated Solutions with fellow director Unna Liddy, Bret held senior executive positions in government departments leading teams responsible for planning and governance, policy development, and program delivery and has previously lectured in policy and business development at the Queensland University of Technology.

Over the course of his 24 year career Bret has worked in the government, education and business sector and has gained post graduate qualifications in Business Administration and Education.

Bret's skills are in business planning and development, management systems, and information systems.

Recent consultancy work includes

  • Leading the development of the LOGIQC quality management system software
  • Development of electronic assessment and audit tools for organisational development for the Department of Health and Ageing (OATSIH) and the NT Government Department of Health and Families
  • Development of strategic plans for community based organisations
  • Working with a regional local government authority on a range of business improvement and staff development initiatives
  • Working in partnership with BHP Billiton Nickel West and community agencies to develop a 5-year 'building healthy communities' program
  • Evaluation of government programs and policy in the area of community services
  • Industry development consultancy for the Queensland Government in the film, television and digital content industry sectors
